Stephanie Hynds
I began practicing yoga around the age of 16 and was drawn to it through my training as a dancer. I was drawn to become a teacher in 2011 and integrate my teaching of Pilates into the form of yoga. I was trained in Florida by close friend and studio owner, Jana Whiddon, in many styles of yoga including Yin Yoga, Ashtanga, hot yoga, pre-natal, and Vinyasa. My favorite style to teach is Vinyasa and love offering a Baptise-inspired class to include all those weird and wild poses. I have a passion for rock climbing and these experiences greatly influence my dedication to bringing fun and new challenges to class.

My practice has truly changed my life by encouraging me to take better care of myself both physically and in the support of self love to embrace the daily grind. What started as a physical practice has become a humbling experience and now a life calling. I believe that yoga has the power to change the lives of people, not only physically, but emotionally as well. I love the opportunity to guide people on their own personal experience that has no end. Yoga doesn't care how "good" you are as it is for EVERYONE! I am honored to be a part of the Yoga Room and to share the space with such amazing yogi's and yogini's!
