The practice of yoga is a journey to become your true self. Yoga means to “yoke,” to unite or connect the body, mind and spirit , which often leads to a path of self-discovery. A regular yoga practice can help you cultivate this connection and increase physical strength and improve mobility.
In this class, you will learn to move slowly through each pose in alignment, uniting the body, mind and breath. We will start at the beginning, by simply learning to stand in Tadasana, or Mountain Pose, and building onto our foundation from there.
This class is for anyone who would like to learn more about yoga, the proper positioning in each pose and how to start a yoga practice. Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi, this class offers valuable information to all levels.
